I have utilized this device to interface skydive altimeters, which are equipped with COM ports, with my iPhone and iPad. The accompanying application provides an interface to manage AirConsole device settings directly from an iPhone.

For units running the custom firmware developed by Blue Skies Software, the application offers additional functionalities beyond basic configuration. It supports firmware uploads via FTP and allows for firmware upgrades, enhancing the device's flexibility and usability.
